Local engineering firm SafeBiz Engi\u00adneering Co. Ltd has signed a franchise agree\u00adment with Malaysian IPM Engineering Sdn. Bhd on August 11.<\/p>\n

The signing ceremony took place at Sedona Ho\u00adtel and was attended by the Managing Directors of both firms as well as rep\u00adresentatives of the Myan\u00admar Engineering Council and Myanmar Engineer\u00ading Society.<\/p>\n

SafeBiz has been very active in Mandalay, Yan\u00adgon, and Tanintharyi con\u00adstruction consulting and related services since its inception in 2015. The company has joined forc\u00ades with its ASEAN neigh\u00adbor to expand its level of technical expertise and better adopt international practices.<\/p>\n

\u201cMyanmar\u2019s shift to democracy and an open economy has given rise to a boom in infrastruc\u00adture and countrywide de\u00advelopment construction. Partnering with an expe\u00adrienced international firm positions SafeBiz to better assist national level con\u00adstruction projects with premium quality control and construction safety,\u201d Director Zayar Tin Aye told Myanmar Business Today.<\/p>\n

After economic and po\u00adlitical liberalization My\u00adanmar companies strived to meet various interna\u00adtional standards, a hurdle for firms with untrained workers. Under the agreement, SafeBiz will send several of its Myan\u00admar employees to IPM\u2019s headquarters in Malay\u00adsia to receive training in ASEAN and international engineering standards.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe franchise will be active in early 2018. We are very excited to send staff to Malaysia to re\u00adceive state-of-the-art in\u00addustry training,\u201d Zayar Tin Aye added.<\/p>\n
